Mastic ( مستكة نوع اول)

Mastic is aromatic resin obtained as a soft exudation from mastic tree incisions. It is primarily used to create pale varnishes for protecting metals and paintings. Mastic is known as megilp when dispersed in bodied (thickened by heating) linseed oil and is used as a color vehicle.
