Mugworts (شيح)

Artemisia is used as a spice and as an antiseptic in folk remedies. Artemisia herba-alba is used to treat coughing, stomach and intestinal upset, the common cold, measles, diabetes, yellowed skin (jaundice), anxiety, irregular heartbeat, and muscle weakness. It is also employed in the treatment of parasitic infections such as roundworms, pinworms, tapeworms, hookworms, and flukes.
