Moghrabieh Spices

Caraway and cinnamon are the primary spices in moghrabieh. They are used sparingly, as is customary in Lebanese cooking. These two earthy spices are complemented by black pepper and Lebanese seven spice. The other flavors are derived from the chicken broth, which contains cardamom, black peppercorns, and bay leaves.
