Oregano

Oregano is a mint, or Lamiaceae, family herb. For thousands of years, people have used it to flavor foods and treat medical conditions. It is an excellent antibacterial agent. It contains phytonutrients (thymol and carvacrol) that help fight infections like staph. It's high in antioxidants, which help prevent cell damage, and it's high in fiber, vitamin K, manganese, iron, vitamin E, tryptophan, and calcium.
